INFORMATION

01 I know what I need, but I cannot find it on your website. Does that mean you do not supply it?
Not necessarily.
A website can show the core of a product range, but it cannot always reflect what is available across different producers, origins and markets at a given time.
Send us the product name together with the grade or specification you require. If it falls within our area of activity, we can look at the requirement through our existing supply network.
02 We use the same product regularly. Can you work with recurring demand rather than one-off orders?
Yes. In fact, understanding recurring requirements often allows for a better conversation about supply.
Knowing expected volumes, frequency, specifications and destination gives us a clearer picture of what you actually need and allows both sides to discuss an arrangement that makes commercial and operational sense.
03 Can you supply the same product from different origins?
This depends on the product.
For some requirements, more than one producer or origin may be available. In other cases, the required grade, specification, approval or application can narrow the options considerably.
We prefer to start with the technical and commercial requirement and then determine which available source is appropriate.
04 What information should I send with an enquiry?
The more precise the requirement, the more useful our response can be.
At minimum, tell us the product, grade or specification, quantity and destination. If you already know your preferred origin, packaging, Incoterm, delivery schedule or other conditions, include those as well.
A clear enquiry saves time on both sides.
05 Can you work with requirements across different African markets?
Yes. Africa has been central to our business for years.
But we do not approach the continent as though it were one market. Logistics, regulations, infrastructure, demand and commercial conditions can differ significantly from one country to another.
For that reason, each requirement is considered in the context of its actual destination and circumstances.
06 Do you only sell products, or can you help with sourcing as well?
Our role is not limited to what happens to be immediately available.
Where appropriate, we can use our market relationships to explore sourcing options for specific petrochemical requirements. Availability will naturally depend on the product, specification, quantity, origin and prevailing market conditions.
07 How do you approach a new customer relationship?
We start by understanding the business behind the enquiry.
What does the customer use the product for? Is the requirement regular or occasional? Which specifications matter? Where does it need to go? What has been difficult about the existing supply arrangement?
Those details often matter as much as the product name itself.
08 What if market conditions change after we begin discussing a requirement?
Petrochemical markets move. Freight changes, production changes, availability changes and commercial conditions can change with them.
When circumstances move, we believe the useful response is clarity: explain what has changed, what it affects and what realistic alternatives remain available.
09 Are you interested in hearing from new producers and suppliers?
Yes—but relevance matters more to us than simply adding another name to a supplier list.
We are interested in relationships where there is a genuine fit between product capability, market opportunity, reliability and the needs of the customers we serve.
Producers and suppliers are welcome to introduce their company, product range, production origin and markets of interest.
10 What matters most to you in a long-term business relationship?
Consistency.
Prices and markets will change over time. What should remain consistent is communication, transparency, attention to detail and respect for commitments.
Those are the qualities we value in our own relationships, and the same qualities we aim to bring to the companies that work with us.
11 Have a requirement that does not fit neatly into one of these questions?
Send it to us as it is.
Some of the most useful conversations begin with requirements that need a little more understanding before they need an answer.
12 Do you sell products directly online?
No. Afrochem is not an e-commerce platform. Product and solution information is provided for professional and industrial inquiries.
13 How can I request technical information?
Use the contact or inquiry form and our team can follow up regarding specifications, documentation and application requirements.
14 Can Afrochem support international requirements?
Afrochem is being developed around international B2B chemical markets and industry-specific requirements.
